Here’s some random images of signs I’ve made over the years including painted wooden signs. All signs painted with quality Dulux Enamel to ensure they last for many years outdoors. Carved edges and all detailing is done by hand.

This ADF Shield made from a slice of Ironbark tree. The natural shape was kept. A very hard timber to get perfectly flat for engraving especially end-grain. Took way longer than anticipated as usual but the result was worth it I think. Ironbark is a beautiful locally grown timber! I am excited to make a few boxes out of some pieces I have put aside to dry for a few years now (saved from the firewood pile). Let me know in the comments if you`ve worked with Ironbark before. Some box making underway again tonight in the workshop. This one is for aromatherapy oils and features a raised panel lid with insert rebate corners and a combination of Spotted Gum and Tasmanian Blackwood. Can`t wait to see it finished with Shellac tomorrow afternoon.
Also a few photos of a new jig I whipped up for doing the inserts. Much smaller than my other one which was cumbersome to use and difficult to attach to my sled....
